How do I fund my account?

You can fund your account with the following methods:

Credit or debit card: Once your credit card is approved, you will be able to trade immediately.

Bank transfer: You can transfer your deposit from your bank. Normally it takes 3 – 5 days before you can trade.

Stock transfer: Transfer your stock portfolio to Saxo Bank and use it for collateral trading.

Which credit / debit cards does Saxo Bank accept?

Saxo Bank welcomes card payments by any of the following methods:

  • Debit card (Visa debit, Visa Electron, Visa Dankort)
  • UK debit card (Switch / Maestro, Visa-Delta, Visa Electron)
  • Credit card (Visa, MasterCard)

How do I transfer securities

Saxo Bank only accepts online security transfer requests for stocks and fixed income instruments. To access this module you will need to have a client ID and password. The module is available in the downloadable SaxoTrader platform or the web-based SaxoWebTrader under the menu Accounts.

Once you have accessed your account by entering your client ID and password you will be able to access the module to transfer securities from under the menu Accounts. Below you can see where the menu is located in our trading platform:

Please be aware that 3rd party transfers will not be accepted by Saxo Bank A/S.
